Position Summary:

Location: Johns Hopkins Hospital Baltimore, MD

Schedule: Rotating schedule 5 out of 7 days a week; will include rotation for Holidays, On- Call, and Weekends

• Operate and monitor extracorporeal circulation and blood‑testing equipment during surgical procedures at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
• Educate hospital staff and visitors on perfusion practices.
• Serve as a clinical instructor for students during clinical rotations (optional).
• Participate in non‑clinical duties as assigned by the Chief Perfusionist.
• Fulfill on‑call and weekend responsibilities as scheduled by the Chief Perfusionist.

• Bachelor’s degree required, Master's degree preferred
• Graduate of an American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)–accredited perfusion program.
• Current Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) or certification‑eligible.
• Holds a valid Maryland state perfusion license in accordance with the Maryland Board of Physicians.
