$60/hr
Facilitating and coordinates of programs that may include hospital inpatients, outpatients, families, community, and employees of both the hospital and the university by providing evidence-based care based on the nursing process, policies, procedures, and protocols of the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Providing direction to/management of other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.
Working collaboratively with, and providing leadership for, a multidisciplinary health care team to support program initiatives that support quality, safety, and excellence in care.
Participating in promoting and identifying quality improvement initiatives (clinical, financial, operational) that supports, protects and promotes area of specialty.
Initiating and participate in the research activities relevant to specialty area.
Implementing initiatives in area of specialty as directed by nursing and medical leadership.
Fostering a clinical environment of service excellence.
40hrs per week **guaranteed hours**; 5 days 8:30am-5pm
Work location is specific to: Baltimore County; MD RN License; housing- Baltimore City or Baltimore County East side
OR PG county, Areas of DC, Montgomery County and Southern Howard County.
Skilled Home & Infusion Nurse
Must have:
Excellent infusion skills, including placement of PIVs from newborn through young adult;
High-tech skill- care and use of Central Venous Access Devices, including PICCs, Infusaports, and Hickman.
Experience in administering infusions such as IVIG, Remicade, and Entyvio;
Pediatric experience working in an infusion suite/clinic (Minimal 3yrs), ED, or PICU.
Epic experience
Must have a Valid Maryland driver’s license and current auto insurance, working vehicle; agree to comply with Maryland law for mandatory seat belt use
Provides, coordinates, teaches, and/or supervises care for a group of patients usually in the setting of the patient’s home.
Ability to accept, work, and effectively teach & communicate with individuals and families with varied social and cultural backgrounds without being judgmental
Work location is specific to: PG County, Areas of DC, Montgomery County, and Southern Howard County.
The RN will provide, coordinate, teach & supervise care for patients in the patient’s home.
Must be able to provide skilled evaluation, treatment & care for pediatric patients (newborn through young adults) in accordance with the State of MD & DC Nursing scope of practice.
RN home visit assignments - We reimburse for mileage >25 miles per day.
Tolls and parking will be reimbursed.
