Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is the internal staffing agency for the Johns Hopkins Health System and partner hospitals, providing temporary support to a variety of the Johns Hopkins locations. Pay rate: $22 per hour

 

Schedule: Night Shift - 3 days/week, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Every third weekend included)

Responsibilities

The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating a variety of departmental projects, activities, reports, and schedules. This role involves collecting and managing data for ongoing projects, developing office procedures to ensure efficient operations, and providing comprehensive administrative support. 

  • Collect and organize data from various sources, including departmental leaders, subject matter experts, and budgetary documentation.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and issues; propose strategies and solutions based on findings.
  • Perform general clerical duties such as typing, filing, and completing forms.
  • Operate standard office equipment including copiers, scanners, phone systems, and computers.
  • Serve as the office receptionist, greeting visitors and applicants in a professional manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and ensure timely communication.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative or clerical experience in a professional setting.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with EPIC and Kronos (training available if needed).
  • Ability to manage high-volume phone lines and direct calls appropriately.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
