Responsibilities

Facilitating and coordinating programs that may include hospital inpatients, outpatients, families, community, and employees of both the hospital and the university by providing evidence-based care based on the nursing process, policies, procedures, and protocols of the Johns Hopkins Hospital.

 

Providing direction to/management of other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.

 

Working collaboratively with and providing leadership for a multidisciplinary health care team to support program initiatives that support quality, safety, and excellence in care.

 

Fostering a clinical environment of service excellence.

Qualifications

Position is day shift, no weekends, we could accommodate 8-hour (8-4:30) or 10-hour (7-5:30) shifts. Looking for someone for the beginning of October.

 

Candidate must have IV skills, main responsibilities: Prepping patients for CT/MRI (IV placement, allergy review, POCT), medication administration, and emergency management (allergic reactions, any other type of emergency management/stabilization while waiting for EMS/911 to arrive). 

 

$60/hr

 

Must have:    

  • 2 years of nursing experience in the specialty in which you will be working
  • Current registered nurse license in the state of Maryland, or licensed in a compact state
  • Current BLS certification (ACLS required depending on specialty)
