Rate: $60/hr
Facilitating and coordinating programs that may include hospital inpatients, outpatients, families, community, and employees of both the hospital and the university by providing evidence-based care based on the nursing process, policies, procedures, and protocols of the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Providing direction to/management of other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.
Working collaboratively with and providing leadership for a multidisciplinary health care team to support program initiatives that support quality, safety, and excellence in care.
Fostering a clinical environment of service excellence.
Must have:
RN license; 2 years RN experience; BLS; chemo/bio/Immuno therapy provider card required; Oncology infusion experience
Preferred: Epic experience, ACLS, previous travel experience
Requirements:
· Experienced Oncology nurse; Chemo competent
· Ambulatory experience preferred
· Travel experience preferred
· Experience with Epic/Beacon
Must be very proficient at IV insertions
SKILLS REQUIRED: peripheral intravenous insertion skills, peripheral blood drawing skills. Nurses must have skills in accessing, maintaining, and de-accessing central lines, and thorough assessment skills for a variety of medical conditions, with the ability to provide ongoing patient education.
Very Fast Paced Infusion Center
RN will continually monitor patients throughout their treatment and intervene rapidly in emergent situations. The center provides a relaxed setting for patient-focused care in a supportive environment
Shift: (10) hours/40 hours/week
Shift: 4- 10hr shifts; 8a-630p or 9a-730p; Saturdays 8hr shifts 730a-4p (Will have a rotating late shift per unit need, stay until 7:30p)
40 hours/week
Weekend rotation: x2 Saturday shifts in a 6-week schedule (Every 3rd weekend)
Call: None
Holidays: as needed
Float as needed to area of like skill set.
