All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL is hiring a CT Technologist for pediatric CT imaging. 

 

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday
  • Day Shift
  • 8am - 4:30pm
  • On-call rotations will be required
  • 13 week contract assignment

Pay Range: $58 - $62

 

**Local Florida applicants only - this is not a travel contract**

Responsibilities

  • Performs all CT examinations according to department procedure manual and established protocols.
  • Interviews patients (in/out) for history pertaining to CT exam. This history is to include unusual conditions or limitations and other pertinent information
  • Visually verifies accuracy of radiology order by checking physicians order in patients’ chart or prescription. 
  • Performs CT Imaging studies utilizing knowledge of instrumentation and ionizing radiation, cross sectional anatomy, along with technology and skills to produce quality CT images for interpretation by a Radiologist.
  • Uses hospital information system, via EPIC to access laboratory results for exam related information.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of high school diploma or GED is required
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT), in both Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT).
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT Technologist is required
  • CPR certification with the American Heart Association (AHA) is required
  • Advanced knowledge of computer applications (RIS and PACS) is required
