Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is the internal staffing agency for the Johns Hopkins Health System and partner hospitals, providing temporary support to a variety of the Johns Hopkins locations. Days: Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

  • To provide consultative services, policy interpretation, and recommend courses of action to meet business needs and limit risk to JHHSC/JHH.
  • To provide consultative services, organization policies and guidelines
  • To discuss grievances/class actions/arbitrations/union negotiations and provide information
  • To provide consultative services, exchange information
  • To provide information required for unemployment claims
  • To exchange information and provide support to serving clients needs
  • To attend and participate in discrimination hearings by providing employee information and organizational policies
  • To collaborate on employee/organization legal issues and mitigate risk, including the negotiation and facilitation of separation agreements
  • To exchange information on employee health issues
  • To provide employee and organization information for 3rd step appeals and BU grievances
  • To exchange information on employee health issues, fitness for duty cases, health evaluations, return to duty evaluations, and workers comp issues.
  • To provide information on Compliance Line cases, assist in the investigation of HIPAA violations, and ensure appropriate course of action.
  • To exchange information on situations involving theft, fraud, workplace violence, etc.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science required. Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field preferred

Five years of progressively responsible human resources management experience to include employee relations experience, preferably in a University or Hospital setting. 

Experience of advising multiple levels of management on a range of people matters 

Experience using a recognized HRIS System is strongly preferred.
