Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is the internal staffing agency for the Johns Hopkins Health System and partner hospitals, providing temporary support to a variety of the Johns Hopkins locations. Days/Shift: Monday- Friday / 8 am- 4:30 pm

Location: FLEXIBLE

Twice a month at Odenton (1106 Annapolis Rd, suite 280)

Twice Sibley Memorial Hospital (3^rd floor primary provider suite)

Bethesda the remaining days

• Accompanies clinician into patient exam areas for the purpose of accurately documenting the clinician’s encounter with the patient as described by the clinician. Seeks real-time clarification of all information entered into the medical record.
• Lists diagnoses and symptoms as well as follow-up instructions and prescriptions as mentioned by the clinician.
• Enters orders, including diagnostic testing and medications which are “pended” and require clinician approval to activate.
• Documents procedures performed and described by the clinician.
• Invokes the organization’s approved scribe statement for each clinical note.
• Completes all scribe duties before leaving the patient care area.
• Maintains professional appearance and conduct at all times.

Required: High School diploma or GED
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in disciplines such as human anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, nursing, etc.
