Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is the internal staffing agency for the Johns Hopkins Health System and partner hospitals, providing temporary support to a variety of the Johns Hopkins locations. Under general supervision, operates standard, portable, and special­ized X‑ray equipment to perform radiographic examinations used for  diagnosis and treatment. Provides appropriate patient care, develops film and instructs radiology students as needed.

Location: Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St.Petersburg, FL 

Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Sat, Sun, Mon 8:30 PM-7 AM. 

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes ionizing radiation and technical skills to produce advanced diagnostic imaging for interpretation by the radiologist.
  • Produces and evaluates radiological images to assist the radiologist with timely interpretation of these images for the treatment of patients.
  • Adheres to image specific policies related to quality and safety established by Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and regulatory and accreditation governing bodies.
  • Demonstrates analytical skills required for determining technical factors for proper exposure levels.
  • Practical knowledge of various DR fixed and portable imaging equipment as well as computer skills including PACS and RIS.

Qualifications

  • Completion of Radiography program from an AMA accredited Radiography school.
  • Florida State Radiography License.
  • ARRT registered.
  • Current Basic Life Support, AHA.
  • Prefers someone with, Inpatient, outpatient, OR, trauma imaging experience.
