We are currently seeking a Sonographer for a Temporary assignment at Johns Hopkins Hospital in GYN OB / Fetal Therapy. Must have RDMS with certification in Obstetrics.
40 hours per week.
Performs diagnostic sonographic and interventional procedures under the supervision of the physician or senior sonographer.
Performs diagnostic sonographic and interventional procedures in the department or on the units under the general supervision of the Chief Imaging Technologist and with the assistance of a Physician or a Senior Sonographer.
Assists in generation of patient report and facilitates work flow.
Operates and provides advanced care for ultrasound equipment, image recording and storage devices.
High School diploma or equivalent including successful completion of an approved curriculum in diagnostic sonography.
Current and active registered diagnostic medical sonographer (ARDMS), certified in obstetrics.
At least one year of clinical experience in diagnostic medical ultrasound.
Familiar with various models and manufacturers of diagnostic sonography equipment, recording and storage devices, basic computers and accessory equipment.
CPR/BLS certification required.
