  • Overview

    Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is the internal staffing agency for the Johns Hopkins Health System and partner hospitals, providing temporary support to a variety of the Johns Hopkins locations.

     

    This position is reponsible for the creation, extracton and analysis of health care related data needed to support the EPIC application as well as other applications as assigned.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Analysis and Design:

    Employs proficient analytical skills to define and create report requirements and objectives.     

    • Report Configuration/Development:

    Works with the appropriate subject matter experts and other project team members in design, build, and validation sessions.

    • Testing and Implementation Skills:

    Assist with full system testing and go-live planning as well as ongoing testing and maintenance after go-live.

    • System Support

        Support application during and after live process.

    • Communication/Project Management

     

    Qualifications

     

    Education:

     

    Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in IT or related field is required. Professional certification(s) and/or related experience beyond minimum training experience qualifications may substitute for formal education requirement on a two years’ experience-for-one year education basis.

     

    Experience:

    • Four (4) or more recent consecutive years of demonstrated experience with developing clinical reports using SQL and other reporting tools.
    • Demonstrated experience using advanced SQL query techniques.

    Preferred Job Qualifications:

    • EPIC experience and certification.
    • Knowledge of current healthcare environments.
