Bayview Medical Center is seeking a MD-licensed Physical Therapist for a temporary assignment in Outpatient Rehab.
Hours will alternate weekly.
Week 1 - Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
Week 2 - Mon/ Wed 10:30am - 7pm; Tue/Thur/Fri 8a - 4:30pm.
Hospital-based outpatient clinic, treating orthopedic and neurologic patients. Must be competent to perform evaluations and treatments in accordance with evidence based practice.
Will provide evaluation, program planning and treatment of patients referred to Physical Therapy, and documentation thereof.
Will provide education to patients, families, hospital staff, and students.
Will participate in the enhancement of the profession, the facility, and one’s self by providing quality care, clinical research, and education.
Must hold current license for physical therapy in MD. Minimum of a BA degree in physical therapy from an accredited program, including or supplemented by one year of approved clinical internship is necessary. Current CPR is required.
Must have at least one year of clinical experience including outpatient.
