The Johns Hopkins Imaging Center in Bethesda, MD is seeking an experienced MRI Tech for weekends. MRI Certification and experience with GE scanners.
Shift: Every weekend; Saturday and Sunday 6am - 10:30pm. Weekday coverage is available for someone who wants to work 40+ hours per week.
Reporting to the Johns Hopkins Imaging Site Manager and MRI Lead Technologist, performs Diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems and blood flow studies.
Provides radiologists with images necessary to obtain diagnostic results so that a comprehensive diagnostic report is available to referring physician.
Orients physicians, residents, staff and student technologist in objectives and applications of magnetic resonance imaging and safety.
Requires completion of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, which normally is acquired in a two-year college or technical school program.
ARRT certified with current registration required. CPR certification required. ARRT MRI certification preferred.
Prefer MRI training program experience with clinical internship or one year of MRI experience.
Experience on GE MRI scanners.
