    This is a temporary, full time Nurse Recruiter position.  The nurse recruiter develops recruitment strategies and sources to meet the organization current and future manpower needs. They also manage and coordinate interviews and counsels internal and external candidates concerning qualifications and careers. 


    Facilitating and coordinates of programs that may include hospital inpatients, outpatients, families, community, and employees of both the hospital and the university by providing evidence-based care based on the nursing process, policies, procedures, and protocols of the Johns Hopkins Hospital.


    Providing direction to/management of  other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.


    Working collaboratively with, and providing leadership for, a multidisciplinary health care team to support program initiatives that support quality, safety, and excellence in care.


    Participating in promoting and identifying quality improvement initiatives (clinical, financial, operational) that supports, protects and promotes area of specialty. 


    Initiating and participate in the research activities relevant to specialty area.


    Implementing initiatives in area of specialty as directed by nursing and medical leadership.


    Fostering a clinical environment of service excellence.


    Baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.  


    Must have current specialty certification in one of the following:     

    • Current registered nurse license in the state of Maryland, or licensed in a compact state
    • Current CPR Certification
    • 2 years of recent Nurse Recruitment experience     

    Knowledge of nursing process; social, behavioral, biological, and physical sciences; safety and scientific inquiry process and application to the skill performance; leadership and management as normally acquired through completion of a bachelors program in nursing.   Advance knowledge to provide evidence based, competent and comprehensive care to patients in area of specialty.
