  • Overview

    Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is the internal staffing agency for the Johns Hopkins Health System and partner hospitals, providing temporary support to a variety of the Johns Hopkins locations. 

    This position performs various duties under the functional areas of Inventory Management and Receiving.  These duties include, but are not limited to: receiving, shipping, ordering supplies, determining inventory levels and monitoring supplies. 


    • Establishes proper inventory levels for storeroom supplies.
    • Adds new items into the storeroom based on user requests.
    • Orders supplies from vendors based on minimum / maximum inventory level established and maintained in the computer system.
    • Reconciles invoices.
    • Performs periodic cycle counts.
    • Resolves out of stock problems.
    • Maintains up to date and accurate files.
    • Generates daily and monthly activity reports as defined in the departmental policies and procedures.


    Only applicants who have the following attributes will be considered:

    • A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • A minimum of 12 months prior warehouse/inventory management experience.
    • The physical ability to lift and move weights up to a maximum of 50lbs.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • The availability to work 40 hours per week which may include shifts and weekend work.
