    The Compensation Analyst conducts routine market analysis, performs job evaluation, develops job specifications, conducts annual salary planning process and administers salary programs including salary recommendations, incentive pay and performance management. Serves under general guidance, advises departments regarding position classifications and salary administration. Designs and generates data reports and performs audits on data entry output to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the HR database.



    • 5+ years of HR experience with at least 3 years of compensation and/or analysis experience in a related capacity. Additional HR or financial analysis experience in healthcare with specific compensation exposure will be considered.
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field. May substitute experience beyond the work experience requirement on a 2:1 basis.
    • Knowledge of statistical techniques and computer applications (i.e. spreadsheets, word processing and databases) used in compensation management.
    • Knowledge of compensation tools and programs.
    • Knowledge of job evaluation process and salary administration practices.
    • Knowledge of performance management programs and incentive pay practices.
    • Knowledge of pertinent law and regulations such as Civil Rights Act, Equal Pay Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, Americans with Disabilities Act and personnel administration theories and practices preferred.
    • Substantial interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact with employees and management at all levels in problem resolution and ability to interact with external sources for survey data collection.
    • High level of analytical ability.
    • Demonstrated ability with Human Resources Management Information Systems and computer applications in order to generate reports and resolve complex mathematical/financial/statistical problems.
