    The Employee Relations Compliance Specialist will be responsible for assuring compliance with the federal, state, and local laws pertaining to requests for accommodations related to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and other federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to persons with disabilities, including FMLA, and LOA requests. In collaboration with the designated offices, ensures that appropriate processes are in place to provide for the prompt and equitable resolution of complaints and inquiries from employees regarding compliance with the ADA and other applicable federal and state laws regarding discrimination on the basis of disability. Responsible for assuring that requests for accommodations related to sincerely held religious beliefs are promptly and equitably resolved. Responsible for assuring policies are maintained, kept current, and are in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Serves in an advisory capacity to management and staff on employee relations issues. Conducts investigations in the areas of harassment and discrimination, and makes recommendations on appropriate actions. Ensures consistent application of the Medical Center’s policies and procedures. Assists, as needed, in labor relations activities.


    The requirements are a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Hospital Administration or closely related field and three years of previous employee relations experience including ADA, FMLA, LOA and requests for accommodations. Equivalent combinations of education/experience may be considered. Proficiency in Word, Excel and Powerpoint required.


    Full Time (40 hours)

    Monday - Friday
