The Cardiac Cath lab at Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist for a temporary assignment.
10-hour shifts; Monday - Friday (rotating day off)
8a-5:30p or 9a - 6:30p
Independently operates all radiographic and ancillary equipment within discipline.
Possesses extensive knowledge of all guidewires, catheters, etc. which provide diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for specific cardiac procedures.
Utilizes imaging techniques which provide diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for specific cardiac procedures.
Possesses effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships in all modalities worked that foster optimal team performance and quality patient care.
Possesses the knowledge of basic PC skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and email.
Work requires completion of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, which normally is acquired in a two-year college or technical school program.
Minimum 1 year experience in EP/Cath.
ARRT certified with current registration required. Radiography license by the Maryland Board of Physicians and current BLS and ACLS certification required.
CI or CV registry is encouraged.
