The American Heart Association Certified Instructor under the direction of JHH Training Center Coordinator, plans, organizes implements and evaluates Health Care Provider CPR, and or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification training.
Two years of college, professional training or equivalent experience.
Maintains mastery of course content and skills' uses interactive teaching techniqures in student training.
Provides effective and ongoing feedback to students. Adhere to AHA guideline and curricula.
Current American Heart Association Instructor certification in either or all of the three class disciplines.
High fidelity simulation manikins, low fidelity skill manikins, code carts, monitors are used. Capability to lift 40 pounds unassisted, up to 200 lbs. assisted required. Ability to use general office, telephone systems, other electronic equipment required.
