Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist and in coordination with other technicians, pharmacy technicians are responsible for a variety of duties to assist in the preparation and packaging of medications, distribution and delivery of medications, maintaining proper inventory levels, and keeping appropriate records and documentation.


Central Pharmacy 


Shift:   Every other weekend, Saturday & Sunday 8-hour shifts, day or evening.


Maryland Pharmacy Tech license required.  








The main function in this PRN role will be delivery of medications to Pyxis machines.  


Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.


Completion of an external pharmacy technician training program is desirable.


Requires knowledge of pharmacy work routines, procedures, materials and/or equivalent. 


Requires knowledge of pharmacy terminology, medication names and aseptic technique.



  • MD Pharmacy Tech license required.
