Responsibilities

This position typically performs a number of duties including installing and updating software, resolving issues through diagnostic testing, and providing general technical support which may include the setting up of new equipment and the handling of minor hardware and equipment repairs. 

 

The primary responsibilities of the position include the imaging, deployment, software installation/distribution and configuration of PCs, Laptops, and printers for various departments.

 

Qualifications

Applicants should have a fundamental, functional knowledge of networking, maintenance, security and troubleshooting with the following abilities:

  • working on assignments/projects and setting priorities;
  • executing assigned projects requests and tasks within established schedules;
  • multitasking and working collaboratively in a team environment;
  • the ability to write and communicate in a clear and concise manner;
  • maintain confidentiality and demonstrate critical thinking and reasoning skills.

The position will require prior hands on experience with imaging using SCCM deployment methodologies, knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and the ability to utilize the Helpdesk Ticketing as well as Service Request systems to manage and maintain work queues. The position requires exemplary customer service and communication skills.

 

A+ certification is preferable.
